4809 Vista Lane was purchased because of the approximately 800 sq ft under the house that could be used for additional living space. The purchase price was approximately $492,000 after a seller credit on 10/6/2022. 4809 Vista Lane was sold for $520,000 on 12/27/2023 prior to the 800 sq ft addition because of the 75 E. Dogwood Trail opportunity.
4809 Vista Lane's project was limited to new siding, decking, kitchen cabinets, tile and the addition of an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) but the improvements made the 20 year old home feel new.
4809 Vista Lane was sold by Coldwell Banker Real Estate and their realtors made the youtube video seen with the "Tour 4809 Vista Lane" button to help sell the house without the 800 sq ft addition.
The neighbor’s house burnt down on Vista Lane not only destroying their entire home, the fire also destroyed more than 15 trees on 4809 Vista Lane providing privacy between the houses. With tree experts like Davey Tree, arborists and the Council of Tree and Landscape Appraisers valuing mature trees between $1,000 and $10,000, the fire not only may have done $50,000 of damage to 4809 Vista Lane, the fire also destroyed one of the most beautiful features…a spacious, secluded, tranquil waterfront lot.
The Vista Lane cul-de-sac was not in compliance with zoning codes when 4809 Vista Lane was sold, making the realtor’s job anything but easy.
4809 Vista Lane was bought after viewing the available pictures from Pennsylvania. The listing agent provided a FaceTime tour and indicated there was a collage of vehicles on the street. With only a few weeks of time before a teaching job started, 4809 vista lane was purchased without us being informed there was abandon vehicles on the right away Kitty Hawk allowed there.
4809 Vista Lane was sold prior to the neighborhood cleanup being completed and almost every potential buyer had concerns with the unfinished cleanup. We can only imagine what 4809 Vista Lane would sell for after the Sea Scape neighborhood returned to a tranquil state. Nearby comparable sales include 4233 Seascape Dr sold for $720K, 4227 Seascape Dr. sold for $951K and 4805 Elm Ct sold for $575K in the lot behind the vacant lot filled with equipment and trash.
Although the 800 sq ft addition was not built under 4809 Vista Lane, the landscape was completely updated leaving the new owners with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy with their family.
